Jesse Litsch - Will Strike You Out, Then Pick Up Your Bat |

One thing that we can all agree on is that value pitching in fantasy is a key to success. A waiver wire pick up can turn to gold (see Eric Gagne circa 2002 or Joe Saunders in 2008). A guy that has caught my eye as a low value investment over the last two seasons is Gil Meche. Here are five reasons you should jump on his bandwagon.

When to Veto A Trade

In the ten years I have been playing roto-ball, the single-most controversial topic that has reared its ugly head at least once each season has been the issue of trade vetoes. To paraphrase Shakespeare (who undoubtedly would have been a Cubs fan): “To veto or not to veto…that is the question.”

Don't know who Kenny Powers is? Then you probably haven't seen EAST BOUND & DOWN on HBO (Sundays @ 10:30 PM). Which means you are missing out on the most hilarious baseball TV show! The show is about a jack-ass hazbin-major league pitcher who is trying to make it back to the bigs. Meanwhile, he lives with his brother's family, is the P.E. coach at his old high school and his most valuable and only possession is a jet ski (which he gives rides to topless chicks on). PLUS Executive Producer, Will Ferrell, plays an obnoxious local car dealer salesman. While a little over the top, the show is hilarious. Check out Kenny Powers at kennypowerscostumes.com. And a little word of advice, don't draft him in your fantasy baseball league. |
